The bratty Shellder often taunt their opponents during battle, sticking out their tongues and spitting between attacks. Shellder evolve into Cloyster if trainers use the Water Stone, and they can be found in the waters around Vermilion City, Cinnabar Island, Seafoam Island, and routes 6, 11, 12, 13, 17, 18, 19, 20, and 21.
